A fantastic agency who look after a great group of writers and, happily, me too.
Linda Aronson is a bit of a screenwriting legend. There are loads of books out there you can spend your cash on, but hers are the best I've read - clear, consistent, interesting and illuminating. Plus she seems to be the only person who is drilling down into screenwriting structures that AREN'T the usual linear 3 act structure.
A brilliant organisation, run until recently by the incomparable, much missed Lucy Scher. Nowadays, The Script Factory concentrate on feature film development working directly with writers but you can also buy Lucy’s brilliant book on script reading from the site.
The BBC Writers Room site is full of useful advice, as well as lots of information about competitions and plenty of sample scripts to look at.
Philip Shelley is very knowledgeable on all things scripty, plus he runs the Channel 4 screenwriting competition.
